This uncirculated North Carolina state quarter is colorized to add lasting beauty. On December 17, 1903, Orville Wright became the first man to fly an airplane. The Wright brothers went to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina because the winds were favorable. The North Carolina quarter commemorates the “First Flight.”
