Silver Dollar Space Shuttle Columbia Tribute

Columbia became the first Space Shuttle when it was launched in 1981. It was completing its 28th mission when it disintegrated upon re-enter into earth’s atmosphere on February 1, 2003, causing the death of its seven crewmembers.

We’re proud to offer you this uncirculated U.S. legal tender colorized Silver Dollar commemorating the brave astronauts who lost their lives in this tragedy. It pictures the Columbia shuttle with the NASA logo. This coin is encapsulated, so you can handle it without worrying about damage and the vibrant colors won’t fade. The velvet presentation box makes a great place to store or display the coin, which really stands out against the black and white interior of the box.
