This fold-out card pictures a newspaper article printed on the front page of The Daily News detailing parts of a speech by then-President Ford on October 29, 1975.  In it, he never actually said "drop dead," but his denial of federal assistance to New York portrayed a different message.  Ford later admitted the speech probably cost him the re-election.  This inauguration day souvenir card was canceled on January 20, 1977, the day Jimmy Carter took office.  Get this interesting collector’s item today.
