Own Collector’s Set of West Germany Vending Machine Stamps

This is your chance to get 21 unused Germany stamps sold from a stamp machine.  Each one of these unused stamps has a different denomination.

In 1981, West Germany’s Deutsche Bundespost (post office) introduced an innovation in mail service – the Automatenmarken,, or automatic vending machine stamp.  The stamps were printed with a post horn, the official symbol of the Deutsche Bundespost.  The space for the denomination was left blank.  This allowed a customer to print the stamp for the value they needed.  It reduced the need to print separate stamps for each denomination and cut down on personnel costs.  Another advantage was that when the cost of postage changed, new stamps were no longer needed.

These stamps are an interesting piece of postal history.  If you’re a worldwide stamp collector or specialize in Germany stamps, this is the offer you’ve been waiting for.  Order your set of 21 West Germany Automatic Vending Machine stamps today.
