UN123-24 – 1964 Maritime Organization

Founded in 1958, I.M.C.O. is an agency of the United Nations.  Its aim is to achieve high standards of marine safety and efficient navigation.  This agency has a special responsibility for the safety of life at sea and the discouragement of discriminatory and restrictive practices affecting ships engaged in international trade.
