To Live Together in Peace; U.N. Charter; U.N. Headquarters; U.N. Emblem.  As always, these definitive stamps stress the goals of the U.N. – peace and human dignity.  The U.N. Charter stamp shows the beginning of the preamble to this Charter.  The preamble, which expresses the guiding spirit of the organization, is credited to Jan Christiaan Smuts, of South Africa.
