UN234-35 – 1973 Disarmament Decade 1970-1979

The Disarmament Decade was designed to speed nuclear disarmament, as well as the cessation of the nuclear arms race.  Eliminating other weapons of mass destruction and establishing a treaty on general disarmament under international control were two other goals.
