UN90-91 – 1961 International Monetary Fund

This is an organization of more than 145 member nations that work to establish a system of international payments and trade.  The I.M.F. is an agency of the United Nations and is associated with the World Bank.  A nation must be a member of the I.M.F. before it can belong to the Bank.  Its headquarters are in Washington, D.C.
